Alright after finding this game 4 days ago I've been trying to gather as much info as I can to understand the direction and plans for this game and I believe that I have a general idea, but this has lead to me wanting to ask some questions about the game just to make sure on some things as well as to see if I'm understanding other posts or I'm just letting my imagination run wild.
1. To my understanding with the cart that the wizard gives you for a gold is that you will be able to get one dowry item for free from the first princess you rescue, after that you only have four slots that you can either fill with dowry items or princesses that you rescue, so that is the purpose of the cart correct?
2. with my understanding from the cart if I'm right, is that other then the one free dowry item if you choose the princess over the dowry items you can not get any of the dowry items correct?
3. How exactly will kingship work? (diplomacy, territory management, and all the other stuff?)
4. Will you be able to take over the world?
5. and last but not least I was looking through the blog posts and came across one posted by a rocksavy. can you go into details at all for the harem route and the "I like a challenge mode"?

1. We've actually sort of wrote ourselves into a corner. In the original CYOA, you had four slots (be they princesses or dowries). In our game right now you can freely swap party members, provided they are not busy with important tasks. At some point in the future we might make it so you can only have Ser + another party member without the cart, and lock swapping members in and out of the party to something. We're still not sure. The four-limitation might not end up making it into the game, as that would add more management for no gain of fun or content. In the game, at this moment, the cart only increases overmap movement speed and changes Ser's icon on the overmap.
2. See above. I'd need to go check the charts to remember exactly how that works.
3. Some of it is in already, others are WIP. Each territory provides one of three resources (be they consumable/spendable or special trade resources), and can be prospected to discover a fourth. Buildings can be constructed to provide bonuses for that territory. Territories have a Defense rating, which is how many times they can be successfully attacked before being captured or razed. Free characters can have a unit recruited for them, based on the race of the territory, the maximum size dependent on the size of the territory. We have some systems partly in place for policies and event choices similar to those in Divinity: Dragon Commander, but only in function- there are a number of issues with that game (mechanically and narratively) that we would prefer to avoid copying. In general I've been taking cues from Civilization and Divinity: Dragon Commander. We might trash and replace the siege battle system that we have, entirely, down the road. We'll see. The kingdom management systems in general are still pretty work-in-progress.
4. Yes.
5. We're only now working on the romancing bits, but that's more a case of needing to meet several prerequisites before a princess is interested in you, having to woo them with gifts and dialogues, and then many of them will be unwilling to share Ser in the first place. Princesses have a happiness meter, sleeping around behind their backs will be a good way to massively impact it for the worse. Actively maintaining a massive harem will take a lot of set up, work, and undoubtedly require targeting specific rewards and gifts to make it possible. I can't give exact details beyond that as it's still very work-in-progress.
Hopefully that answers your questions.

yeah it does and it makes me excited to see where the game will be heading for I own Divinity: Dragon Commander and did find the game fun for a little bit but like you said it also had its problems (the game was weak in RTS and also not going to deep into politics with the characters and hashing out middle grounds on deals or maybe grease the wheels for some people in backroom deals, but no just you choose and that's it no real big consequence if you piss off one race on the council they wont do anything what so ever.) still I look forward to your game and seeing how it develops.

So I came up with a scenario with The TowerGirls Fighting Funny Valentine (From Jojo's Bizzare Asventure Part 7) and his Subordinates. I don't know if you know/read Jojo (Including part 7) before, so it might be hard to answer this scenario. Here's the link >https://www.reddit.com/r/whowouldwin/comments/e0voni/jojo_x_towergirls_valentines_subordinates_vs_the/
So what do you think will happen? Will The TowerGirls win or will Funny Valentine clime the win?

I was just being a smartass. The last URL you posted was giving an error. Jojo's is pretty great, and the thought of merging some features from it with Towergirls is kind of amusing to think about. As far as I can tell there isn't a scenario question proposed, however.
