These are all the crash errors I got after playing this game for the first time for 4 hours. Before posting them, though, I just want to say that I hated this game at first because I was stupidly expecting a platforming game, but, beingĀ a dnd fan and a grinding rpg fan, it quickly grew on me. I really hope you can raise enough money to finish this game, DukeFluffy. And once I graduate, I'll make sure to give you whatever support I can, provided the game isn't finished by then.

I saved in a spot, and then tried loading in that same spot right after. All save files got corrupted, making me have to restart the whole game. Thankfully, this happened around the 40 minutes mark, so I didn't lose much content, but seeing as this game will be quite long, this is an error that must be fixed no matter what.
Sorry for not being too specific in my report, but I figure that posting the error logs will be enough to give you a hint on how to fix those issues. Good luck, and be expecting more of these if I make it past the penguins HQ.
Oh, and one more thing. This isn't an error, but it's a pretty bad bug. Everytime I used a healing item (i.e. the frozen berries) during a fight, the game wouldn't allow me to select the character whom was receiving the item, so I would get stuck in the middle of the fight with no option other than loading my save file.

Here's the bugs I found after playing for roughly 6 to 7 hours today (mostly grinding on necromancers). Right now, I'm at Canopy Cave handling some political issues, and I have rescued 2 princesses so far (Skeleton and Kobold).
Note: I do realize that it's customary to only post error logs that haven't already been posted to prevent flooding, and that's why I choose this particular model of presenting my report to the devs, one in which I play for a very long time and write down almost every issue that I came across during that time in a single compressed list. So, hope this helps.

After doing the "kill three penguin scouts" mission without the assistance of Kobold Knight, I recruited him when the siege battle was over. As soon as I entered the Glacier Keep, I clicked his icon on the bottom of the screen (the one right next to Ser Knights's) and the game crashed. After I loaded the save file, Kobold Knight's icon was blank and he did not appear during battles, but the EXP was still being shared to him.

It happened when I entered the first fight against a penguin in the Glacier Keep. Apparently this is tied to the Kobold Knight issue, because when I did the siege fight again and refused his assistance, the game kept going without crashing.

After taking Kobold Princess back to her kingdom, a group of bloody kobolds (Konverts) showed up. The game crashed when I clicked the "Battle" option.
Non error bugs
So, I don't know if it was intentional or not, granted that killing these enemies twice unlocked more stuff about their lore, but the boss from the Frozen Tower (something Mord) respawned after I had already beat him. Not only that, but the penguin scouts from the kobold princess quest also respawned after I left the area and came back.
By the way, I really digged the Frozen Tower, it gave off a Bloodborne-ish kind of feel with the church and all, plus the gloomy atmosphere and NPCs.

Here's today's report. I didn't do any progress in my main save file, instead I created a Lady Knight to test out the mage build and see what new dialogue I would get from others. Apparently Skeleton Princess still makes the "lance" joke even though you ain't got none. That also gave me an opportunity to find new errors, so here they are.

The game decided to auto-save in a room where you get ambushed as soon as you enter it. I just heard the slashing sound of when you begin a fight while in the saving screen, and then it crashed.

Once again, the game auto-saved when I entered a room where I got immediately ambushed. As a result, the whole background turned into the overworld map. I kept going just fine, until I came out of the dungeon and pressed space to skip a week, making the game crash.
Non error bugs
While redoing the Frozen Church in another save file, I found out that if you place your character in the bottom right square, Skeleton Knight won't rejoin you after you've unlocked the shortcut back to where his brother is. I don't know if it happens when your character is placed on any of the left squares, but putting him on the upper right one allowed Skeleton Knight to come back to my team.
Also, for those of you who don't know, there's a little Easter egg when you ask Skeleton Princess about the place you're currently in, and that place is the Frozen Church when you come back to it after having already left.

I tried to enter the Town Square in High Forest Kingdom after having bought a bunch of stuff, leaving it, and then coming back. Happened again when I tried to enter the Merchant Square after having already entered and left. The way the solve it is saving before re-entering the kingdom, quitting the game, and going back in.
Non error bugs (and maybe nitpicking)
Hit box for map squares are too big and overlay each other.
If you take Skeleton Knight away from your 4 man team, he won't show up in the party members list and disappears from the game.
When you first enter the screen with the kobold army and councilour, a yellow-ish drawing of them wearing bandages pops up and slowly scrolls left until some text start appearing, but you can't make out what it says because the text goes away as soon as it's done typing.
This one was already covered by Pscion, but since it hasn't been solved yet I'll add it to the list as well. After you defeat the Bleu Knight in the quest "A Most Swordid Affair", Knight Princess and her Moon Knights return to Bronta's Hold. As part of the quest, you're supposed to go there as well and join the band, only the option to access the Commander Camp is greyed out, making it unclickable. I've managed to get it to become white by entering the armor store and then leaving by pressing the red X in the upper right corner of the shop, but then it just keeps kicking me from the hold everytime. So far, this quest is unfinishable.
(pretty bad bug) After rescuing Kobold Princess, I moved the kobold army towards Canopy Cave when suddenly this weird song started playing with horns and drums for 5 seconds or so. When it was done, I couldn't move anymore, regardless of how many times I pressed the space bar. It also made unable to open any menu: whenever I pressed the button to open my inventory, it would immediately close right after. My exact setting was: a team of 4 people (level 14 Lady Knight, level 12 Skeleton Knight, level 9 Skeleton Princess, and level 2 Kobold Knight); my icon (or at least a kobold shaman's icon) in the overworld was standing in Glitter Peaks when I came out of Glacier Keep, and I could only move for 2 turn until the music started playing, making me unable to continue and rendering my save file useless. I think that it's related to wheter the squad you're leading during the siege fight dies or not.
(another pretty bad bug) So, I managed to rescue a save file from a backup and got past the Glitter Peaks glitch. I then reached Canopy Cave, only to come back out and notice that my overworld sprite was missing. When I tried right-clicking other places, it gave me an option to travel and the ammount of turns it would take, but to go from Canopy Cave to Long Hive (which are very close from each other) took 8 weeks. After a few minutes, I figured out that my character in the overworld wasn't in Canopy Cave, but in Glitter Peaks, and his sprite still was missing, so I couldn't click on him to make him move. That's another brick wall that I and many other players are gonna have to figure out how to get past until you patch the game.
Anyway, that was it for today. It didn't crash much often, instead I kept getting stuck in places and having to reload. At least I'm making some progress. I got three princesses so far (Kobold, Skeleton and Knight), and based on the Big Book of Stuff there are still 3 more to go, so I'm half way there. Woo.

Hey, thanks for grinding through that not-at-all stable release and reporting these bugs. The release just before that most recent one was probably the most stable, but a few of the minor additions managed to make the house of cards that was the coding crumble. Keeping Towergirls stable has been a nightmare. I've gotten extremely tired of working with Game Maker Studio, the native engine for Towergirls: the Game, and since then we have decided to port the game to Unity. We're getting close to a tech demo, which will demonstrate a much more stable, easily readable, monitor-size-support friendly game.
I appreciate that you have been reporting this bugs, enjoying the last broken release, and been reporting problems in such a way that they are helpful. Moreover, your bug reports have the additional information (that not everyone gets), which would make fixing them that much easier. I hope that you'll continue to squeeze enjoyment out of the game, and maybe consider trying to break our Unity release to find bugs in that, once it appears. That would be neat.

Thank you for your kind words, that motivates me more than anything to keep digging for flaws in this yet to be completed game. Though, to be honest, I was going to wait around for the Unity release in a couple of weeks/months, but just in case you or the others still feel like updating the Game Maker version here's some of the bugs that I've found today. Non error bugs
Once again, a couple of bosses respawned after fighting them once and then coming back. This time it was the Moa in Canopy Cave, though you could argue that it's a special enemy, and Sepermuertomuerte. Thankfully the post kill dialogue didn't repeat itself after beating the Moa a second time, nor did it drop the same item twice, that did happen however to serpent god. The Titan Boa did not respawn, probably because it was scripted to appear after you've plucked out the konverts' gem from the dragon(?)`s skull.
In Sandy Roots, the puddles on the ground have a nice little effect when you run on them, but Ser Knight's reflection on it only pops up when he moves, and not only it's not sequential, as in it keeps "blinking" due to lack of frames, but it also shows the original look of the main character, remaining unchangeable regardless of what armor you currently have on.
About spells, you can't have more than 7 of them on your character, and I don't mean during battle but in general. So, if you have 7 spells at the moment, learning one more will be a waste of a talent point. I'm not sure yet if it works the same way with abilities, but I can only assume it does.
Inside the Kompound, on the first floor, both the side passages are dead ends, despite the map displaying the opposite. Also there's a little glitch on Canopy Cave's minister icon where it shows the head of five kobolds, each of a different shade of green, forming a pentagon. I believe this happens after the king resigns and stops happening once Kobold Princess takes charge.
(major exploit) Buying things when you don't have enough money sometimes works, with the only downside being that you gold counter goes negative, but you could basically get the best gear off the bat in the High Forest, not really sure because I haven't tried it so early on.
(another major exploit) When you buy a piece of armor from Forge Knight in High Forest, you can keep selling it back to him forever without it ever going away from your inventory. This actually helped me buy a bunch of gifts for both princesses I had on my team, effectively raising their disposition.
When you have too many things in your equipment inventory, it only displays up to 18 items. However, if you unequip or equip something it goes back to normal, but only until you (un)equip again, then it goes back to 18.

In Undertown, when G37A tells you that you can only bring one partner to infiltrate the wizard lords' tower, clicking on Kobold Princess made the game crash. That did not happen when I instead picked Levy Knight, my other teammate.
Non error bugs
The sprite for Ice Wolf doesn't show up on the Big Book of Stuff even after killing it several times. His name and info also remain as question marks.
Yup, today's report's rather small. I haven't come across many game breaking bugs after the halfway point, and since I'm close to beating Towergirls this might be my last report. If that's the case then I'll go back to bug catching once the Unity port has been released. Until then, cheers.
