Enemies and level scaling

While I was grinding for a couple of hours to get Skeleton Princess to level 10 (because I have the time), I noticed that the enemies also gain levels based on either my own level or the amount of weeks I'm currently at. My pet peeve with this one is that the developers (or whoever is in charge of programming) didn't scale their exp along with their levels, so you'll be fighting level 5 skeletons that still award you 10 exp, the same amount that they did at level 1. This gave me Skyrim flashbacks, and I hated this mechanic in that game because, despite being used as kind of a means to convey realism, it makes the player not feel that sense of progress of when you one-shot low level enemies. Instead, it doesn't matter how strong you get, the ones you're fighting will always be around the same level as you, if not a bit lower. This is specially annoying when all of your team is at a high level and, when you recruit another NPC, he can't hit or damage anyone.
Thus, if I were to provide a way to fix that, without having to take away a mechanic from the game, it would be to make enemies give out more exp based on their level. That way, when you go to a new area after hours of grinding and recruit a knight, he will still be horribly underleveled compared to the enemies of that location, whose levels got bigger with yours, but at least he'll level up quickly and catch up in no time. Another way to fix this would be to make the knights' level scale with yours, which only makes sense since the enemies are also growing stronger with time.
tl;dr: if enemies get tougher, they should give more xp.
Anyway, have a good one, devs. Love you.
