A small list of tweaks that popped into my head while running through the game.
Keyboard Controls: It would be nice to port the numbered spell/foe selection from the previous versions into this one. In addition, being able to interact with nearby people/objects by hitting the spacebar instead of clicking would almost make this game keyboard-only capable, which would be nice. Relatedly, you gotta click the "X" to cancel out of using an item; would be better if you could just hit Esc.
More hidden items: I think the only "pickup" at the moment is the hard-tack from the corpse inside Glacier Tower. A few more items to find for exploring the place could be fun; the blood-puddle room in Glacier Towers has a perfect spot for one, just out of reach until you search around for the way into the north doorway.
Faster Bars: The HP bar (and I guess other bars) seems to move quite slowly, allowing you to get in multiple attacks before it's stopped adjusting. Making this move faster would mean if I'm rushing through a battle, I still have an accurate view of the foe's HP.
Controls-on-UI: Adding more buttons on-screen instead of the right-click context menu could help make it easier for new players to figure out how to do certain things (for example, adding a "use" button under the item description for items in inventories). Not sure how necessary this is, though; the right-click context menu saves a lot of screen real-estate, so it may be better to just leave it as-is and add in a visual demonstration in the tutorials later. Take this one with a grain of salt, I guess.
Turn-Queue: A turn-order queue could be nice; just character portraits sliding on a bar. Probably a pain in the butt to code, though.
Defend Animation: Defending needs an animation or something; it often comes around to my turn and I have no idea why until I double check the enemy sprites. A zoom in on the foe similar to the attack zoom would fix this.

Quick-Undo for Level-up: When leveling, either having an undo button or right-clicking to remove the talent would be handy, and stop the first-time brief "Oh no, I stuffed it up" before you reach the confirmation dialog. Also, having talents being placed during this level-up have a different coloured highlight would be neat, both showing you what you just earned, and which ones you can still undo.
Turn Backout: A way to "back out" of a turn, such as clicking defend with one character when you meant to attack. Obviously can't happen if the enemies turn is next, but if it's an ally, pressing Esc to rewind should be fine.
Prevent HUD Clipping: Move the Item Pickup indicators slightly upward, so they don't block dialog when items are received (such as when buying the cart from Smugh).
Save my eyeballs: The map's land texture is a fairly bright white. A slightly dimmer colour would stop eyeballs bleeding during late-night play.
