While it's visually interesting, here are some points to consider:
1. It's very difficult to give accurate feedback without knowing what these empty slots are going to hold.
For example, it's easy to see where the enemy name cards will be slotted in, but we can only guess what the bottom and left grey bar/circle will be for.
2. Assuming the left side or bottom portion of the screen are for actions, this new UI doesn't solve the biggest issue with the previous AI. It's extremely tiresome to click the buttons on one half of the screen to select to attack, and then click another item on the other side of the screen to target. And you have to do it for every single attack in every single battle for several hours.
3. The circle seems to jut very heavily into the main screen area in the bottom example, so I hope it's something useful.
4. Often the most effective way to communicate events is with visual representation rather than a literal history (shown in the bottom right).
TLDR: Need more information to judge. Clicking back and forth is tiresome. What's the circle do? Do we need a chat box for battles?
