I know I might be looking far ahead but it would be cool if each princess you marry would give you a lunch each time you visit(or day/week) and that lunch would be a really powerful buff or healing item(or impair you if you've been neglecting or cheating). This idea is based of Harvest Moon.

The game will definitely keep track of how long you go between visiting a particular princess, assuming you have them assigned to some territory a good distance away. This would range from warmly welcoming the player, since they haven't seen you in a while, to beating you to death with a stick.
Lunch is an interesting idea. I'll point that out to the team.

Also the time passage feels kind of weird it takes 11 weeks(77 days, about 3.5 months) to reach the glacier, or will there be faster methods of travel(horse, wagon, etc.).
It doesn't take long in real time just feels weird from a game world perspective.

The current speed will be left to army units, and the party movement on the overmap will be faster. May or may not require Smuhg's wagon.
